A US agency other than CBP whose rules apply to certain imports, such as the FDA or USDA.
PGAs include the FDA (food, drugs, cosmetics, medical devices), USDA (plants, animal products), EPA (chemicals, engines), CPSC (consumer products) and others. Their data is filed with the customs entry in ACE, and they can hold goods until satisfied.
