What this means for your shipments
- Your US buyer pays. The importer of record posts a cash deposit at the AD/CVD rate when the goods enter the US, on top of normal duty.
- The rate depends on who made and sold the goods. Companies reviewed by Commerce get their own rate; everyone else gets the all-others rate.
- The entry is filed differently. The customs broker files it as an AD/CVD entry and quotes the case number, so share the producer and exporter names with your buyer.
- Rates can change every year. Interested parties can ask for an administrative review in the order's anniversary month.
